Here at The Lodge at Ashford Castle we love pets and treat them like VIPs (Very Important Pets). We are delighted to be able to cater for your four legged member of the family and you can be assured your pet will be treated like royalty from the time they check in until departure.
With the vast Ashford Estate on the doorstep, your dog will love the never ending walks in the countryside as much as you will!
Please mention that your pet will be travelling with you and we will forward our special 'Pet Preference' form.
In the room for the duration of your stay we will provide a supremely comfortable bed, fluffy towels, duvets, food and water bowls, and a turndown treat for your V.I.P (Very Important Pet).
There will be a €25 charge per dog, per night and we will retain a €500 deposit on check-in that is separate to any pre-authorisation for your room.

You are responsible for any and all property damage and/or personal injuries resulting from your pet. You must further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners and its operators from all liability and damage suffered as a result of your pet.
The hotel reserves the right to charge your account an amount commensurate to the cost of such damage, and it will be withheld from the damage deposit amount of €500.
This amount will be posted to your hotel folio, as a pet security deposit, and refunded or credited to your account following a room inspection upon departure. We invite you to attend this inspection. Should a charge be made against this security deposit, you agree that you will not dispute the charges posted to your credit card. Please be aware that these policies are stated to protect both parties, and in no way are a reflection on our desire to host your pet. We require the weight and height of your dogs which enables us to choose the correct bedding to place in your room. All dogs under 50 pounds in weight and under 24 inches
in height are suitable for our accommodations at The Lodge at Ashford. In the room, we will provide a comfy bed, fluffy towels, food and water bowls and a treat for our V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) during your stay. Please note that there is a maximum number of 2 dogs per room.
Aggressive breeds (see list below) – are not permitted. If you have any questions about whether your dog will be permitted, please call us directly.
