Situated on the banks of Lough Corrib and the River Cong is one of the most famous fisheries in all of Ireland. Covering 44,000 acres, Lough Corrib is the largest of the three lakes in the area and well known for its brown trout, salmon and pike fishing. Guide Frank fishing on Lough Corrib

Fishing

From fly fishing lessons to half and full day trips, our 3rd generation Ghillie Frank will tailor your experience to suit your ability. Suitable for beginners and competent fishermen alike, the majority of fishing trips take place from hand-crafted 19ft clinker traditional wooden boats on Lough Corrib. Opt for a full day experience and you will enjoy a picnic lunch on one of the islands and the chance to cook your catch!

For competent fishermen, we also offer fishing on nearby Lough Mask and Lough Carra, or further afield in Connemara. The Cong River at the hotel is a great option for very experienced and able-bodied salmon fishermen.

All fishing gear is supplied. We recommend you dress in warm, waterproof clothing, boots and bring sunglasses.

Please note the cancellation policy is 24hrs prior to the start of any activity.
