Spend the weekend experiencing the flavours of Mayo under the expert guidance of Chef Jonathan Keane. Explore the products of the west through the eyes of a chef, whilst also having the chance to dine at the outstanding Wildes Restaurant and Quay Bar throughout your 2 night stay with us. 



  • Day 1

    Enjoy a sharing platter per person in the Quay Bar for dinner at The Lodge at Ashford Castle.

    Day 2 

    • 7.30: Breakfast at the Wildes restaurant 
    • 8.45: Meet Chef Johnathan Keane in the Ashford Estate garden
    • 9.05: Depart Ashford Estate gardens for Achill island
    • 10.35: Arrive in Achill island and enjoy a tour of Achill Island Sea Salt
    • 11.35: Enjoy a tour of Calvey’s Achill Mountain Lamb
    • 12.35: Depart Achill for the town of Newport
    • 13.30: Have lunch at award-winning restaurant Kelly’s Kitchen
    • 14.15: Tour of Kelly’s Artisan Butchers
    • 15.00: Depart for the town of Cong
    • 16.00: Arrive back at the Lodge

    Conclude the day with a delicious dinner at Wilde’s restaurant in The Lodge at Ashford Castle.
